Dr. Thomas Azman, a graduate
of the University of Maryland, received his
doctorate from the University of Alabama
Medical Center School of Optometry. In
private practice since 1975, he specializes
in the care of the contact lens, color vision,
laser vision, dry eye and low vision patient.

Dr. Thomas Azman is the
Medical Director of Azman Color Vision
Specialists and Co-Director of Contact Lens
Specialty Services and Dry Eye Treatment & Management Services.
Dr Azman is also director of Low Vision
Services of Maryland. Dr. Azman is a clinical
instructor at the University of Maryland,
Department of Ophthalmology. He is a member
of the Maryland and American Optometric
Associations, and the American Optometric
Society. Dr. Thomas Azman was appointed by
the governor of Maryland in 2004 to be a
board member of the Maryland Board of
Examiners in Optometry, and is currently the
President of the Maryland Board of Examiners
in Optometry.
Dr. Azman has extensive experience in color
vision correction, refractive surgery care,
dry eye treatment & management, and the
diagnosis, treatment, and management of
complex contact lens cases. As a research
consultant for many contact lens
manufacturers, Dr. Azman is considered both
an authority and an innovator in the area of
contact lenses.

Dr. Irwin Azman, a
doctoral graduate of the Illinois College of
Optometry, has been in private practice
since 1977. He specializes in the care of the
contact lens and laser vision patient,
especially children and those having
difficulty wearing lenses. Dr. Azman also
specializes in the hard to fit contact lense
for post-RK, PRK, and Laser patient. He also
manages the Keratoconus patient.

Dr. Irwin Azman is the
Medical Director of Azman Eye Care
Specialists and Dry Eye Center of Maryland,
and Co-Director of Contact Lens Specialty

Pediatric and Binocular Vision Services and
sports visio services. Dr. Azman is a clinical instructor
